Sonia is a two-time Emmy award-winning journalist, globetrotter, and micro-influencer based in Dallas, TX.

Sonia has 20 years of extensive work experience in media (TV, print, and radio), and has managed to create a unique personal wellness brand on the side.

​As a seasoned credentialed yoga and meditation instructor, Sonia teaches in-studio classes, takes mindfulness into corporate settings for major companies and leads wellness retreats all over the world. 

Sonia has practiced yoga and meditation consistently for 20 years. She has been teaching for nearly 10 years. A lifelong learner, Sonia has completed additional coursework in: yin, AcroYoga, anatomy and study of fascia, transformational and breath work. She has been trained in 23 lineages of meditation and has completed a 10-day Vipassana course.  

Sonia began leading retreats in 2016, Her science-based approach to yoga and general mindfulness makes her retreats accessible to all bodies, all ages and all experience levels.

DO I HAVE TO BE GOOD AT YOGA TO ATTEND? 

All classes and experiences are guided and geared toward all levels. Sonia's retreats are accessible to all levels, ages,  and bodies. This is an unpretentious, intentional and open-minded group setting. 

what should i pack? 

Yoga mats and props are provided. 

Please bring:

  • Warm layers for cold nights
  • Clothing for movement and time outdoors
  • Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
  • Walking shoes
  • Headlamp/flashlight
  • Water bottle
  • Journal

which airport should i fly into? 

St. George, Utah or Las Vegas! 

 

Springdale is located at the south entrance of Zion National Park, about an hour from the St. George, Utah airport and less than three hours from the Las Vegas, Nevada airport. 

From St. George, Utah:

St. George Shuttle offers regular shuttle service:  https://www.stgshuttle.com/ 
 

It is also an option to rent a car at the airport. 

From Las Vegas, Nevada:
If you rent a car, you’ll travel on I-15 to just north of St. George, Utah, where you’ll exit on SR-9 and follow the highway to the town of Springdale, Utah.

*Please note that Las Vegas is one time zone ahead of Springdale, UT. 

How many people will be attending?

A maximum of 24 attendees. This will allow me to give individual training as we work through the value packed agenda.

Your deposit is non-refundable.

Full balance is due ASAP.

If weather or other circumstances forbid your personal arrival, I cannot offer refunds unless you or I can refill your space.
